Steve Glazer specializes in commercial real estate and finance. He represents individual and institutional investors and hedge funds in the acquisition, development, leasing, venturing and sale of office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, apartment communities and warehouses. He also represents commercial banks and conduit lenders in documenting real estate and other asset backed loans. He is well known for his work in representing both borrowers and lenders in restructuring troubled assets and loans, and heads the law firm’s commercial foreclosure and workout practice.

After graduating Tulane University in 1973 (BA, Economics), he attended Case Western Reserve University Law School in his native Cleveland, Ohio, where in 1976 he earned his law degree (JD; Order of the Coif; Law Review). Following law school, Steve moved to Washington, DC, where he has engaged in the practice of law since 1976. Prior to forming his current law firm in 1993, he was a partner and Executive Committee member of the law firm Melrod, Redman & Gartlan.

Mr. Glazer is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Ohio. He is a member of the Real Property Section of the District of Columbia Bar. He also is a member of the American Bar Association.
